I'm happy my bulge is finally getting recognition on the X Factor

Dermot O’Leary is chuffed his tight pants are finally getting some recognition on The X Factor now that his lunchbox rival Olly Murs has skipped off.

The cheeky-chappy says he’s surprised no one noticed before after causing a storm on Twitter with his packed-in spray-on jeans.

‘Well, I've actually been more than prominent on the show for the past six series,’ the host was quoted as saying by Now magazine.

‘Honestly, I'm not sure how people have failed to spot me ‘til now.’

Insisting Murs stole his thunder and down-below headlines with his bulge, Dermot added: ‘Olly took inspiration from me! I was here first. If you really want to know, I think his bulge had a rummage through my section of the wardrobe department.’

‘There’s only room for one pair of tight pants round here,’ added the ladies’ favourite. ‘And as the lovely Olly’s no longer presenting The Xtra Factor, it’s my time to shine.’

Still, Derm admits he has a way to go in the pants stakes before he rivals the likes of Mad Men heartthrob Jon Hamm, adding: ‘Jon Hamm’s bulge is great – it has its own Tumblr accounts.’
