DERMOT O'LEARY - No.291

DERMOT'S BIG GAY FOLLOWING
YahooOmgUK
YahooOmgUK: Apparently @radioleary's trouser bulge on X Factor has gained him a LOT of gay followers...
...Dermot O'Leary has the biggest gay following of ANYONE on that show, it's amazing how excited the pink market were - he has totally cornered them. They were raving about his skin-tight trousers (and THAT bulge).

THE HARD YARDS

TheXFactor: @radioleary: 'The hardest part of my job is saying goodbye to contestants' (Us too @KingslandRd - sob)

Dermot: 'The hardest part of my job is saying goodbye to acts'

Words cannot express how much we adore Dermot. Without his contestant chats, hugs and stern words with the Judges our weekends just wouldn't be the same. However, we can imagine there's one part of his job that can be upsetting - the bit where he has to tell the contestants they're going home. When we grabbed him for a natter, Dermot confirmed he does get just as emotionally involved with the show as we do - and has been pretty upset when saying goodbye to his favourite acts - not least tonight as we said goodbye to Kingsland Road. "The hardest part of my job is telling the contestants who is going home on the Sunday," Dermot admits. "There's no getting around it, it is what it is. It is always a sad moment but it's the reality of the show - and we all know it has to happen. "And it gets harder as it goes along. For me, that connection happens before the live shows even start. By the Judges' Houses stage you have already got to know everyone and have subconscious favorites. "It's my job not to have favourites but you can't help it because when you're a fan of the show and see it all as a viewer - it's sad to see them go but at least we know they will do well." Well it's good to know we're not the only ones who have a good blub when it gets to the contestant Best Bits on a Sunday, so full respect to Mr O'Leary who stands on that stage and has to do the honours each week. Tune in next Saturday and Sunday at 8pm on ITV to see the man himself do his thing, as we say goodbye to yet another act. Sob.

martinkelner: Yes, I know #XFactor is a glorified karaoke contest, but it serves a purpose as a medium for betting & to keep @radioleary off the streets
